My Story
Get to Know Me

My journey began when I joined the Lander Wyoming Lions Club in 1981. What began as a way to become engaged in the community with other like-minded people, has developed into a passion for service. In the past 40+ years as a Lion, I have held numerous positions in the organization on the local, district, and Multiple District levels, including District Governor of District 5 SE, Multiple District 5 Council of Governors Chair and I currently serve as MD5 Council Treasurer. I am very proud of my service to the association, and since my retirement from the public school system, I have been able to devote myself full-time to the development of our local and district service projects.

A Little Bit About Me

This year I assisted in developing a bicycle refurbishing program called Build-A-Bike. We have been able to provide free bicycles to over 120 underprivileged children and adults in need in our area.

Kids Vision Screening Project

I was responsible for the development of the Aberdeen Lions Clubs Kids Vision Screening Project and have personally screened in excess of 20,000 students in my area since the projects inception.
